Lifelike velociraptor invades Australia in hunt for Jurassic World

Let's unleash a terrifyingly real-looking velociraptor dinosaur and scare a bunch of school kids senseless, shall we? That's the thinking of the people behind Jurassic World: The Exhibition, set to launch at Melbourne's Museum Victoria.

The robotic raptor in all its terrifying glory doesn't seem to scare the kids, however, who appear to be chanting "eat us." It's no wonder it didn't do just that. The irate beast had a rough ride travelling to the exhibition in the cargo hold of a Virgin Australia plane. The least you could do is upgrade this angry dinosaur to business class, you guys.

Created by Melbourne-based Creature Technology Company, the animatronics company produced all the dinosaurs for Jurassic World: The Exhibition. This velociraptor is controlled by a human puppeteer that controls all the movements and sounds that the dinosaur makes. A pretty cool job.

It's probably best to stay out of the kitchen for the next few weeks.
