Walmart's Deals Holiday Kickoff event, which is essentially its way of luring shoppers away from Amazon during Prime Day 2, started revving up Monday, Oct. 9. While a much smaller event than the Prime Big Deal Days going on at Amazon, Walmart's shopping holiday is still some tough competition — particularly in categories like Dyson vacuums.

Best Dyson deal under $300
Under $250 for a Dyson cordless vacuum? Practically a steal. While the V8 Origin+ isn't the most powerful vacuum the brand offers, it still packs that oomph that Dyson's stick vacuums are known for. It gives you up to 40 minutes of cleaning time, automatic hair detangling, whole-machine HEPA filtration, and two extra cleaning tools you can swap out to suit your needs. It's usually $419.99, but during Walmart's Deals Holiday Kickoff, it'll only cost you $249.99.
Best Dyson deal under $500
It may not have a dust-detecting laser, but the Dyson Outsize Plus is a beast, no doubt. As noted by Mashable's resident vacuum expert, Leah Stodart, "The Outsize Plus was Dyson's largest and most in charge-est cordless vacuum before the Gen5outsize entered the chat in June 2023." With just a slight drop in suction power compared to the new Gen5 model, the price difference is astounding.
