A videographer put 'Muppets' footage into this couple's wedding video and it's perfect
The Muppets have evidently launched a wedding video invasion.
Twitter user Molly Knapp shared a video early Wednesday morning, the day of her parents' 25th anniversary, that shows their wedding video with a bizarre edit: The Muppets are in it!
But they're not there organically. According to Knapp, the wedding videographer cut a clip of Muppets footage into the video without permission, a truly perplexing move that is now cemented in the couple's history.

Turns out, it might not actually be as weird as it seems. Knapp told Mashable via DM that her parents certainly didn't ask for the edit, but they did make some other funny requests. The Muppets footage was just an ad-lib by the videographer.
"They definitely didn't ask the videographer to put it in," Knapp said, "but they did ask for other silly stuff like credits for 'underwater photography' but definitely not intercut stuff! I'm sure [the videographer] thought they'd get a kick out of it, and they totally did."
Knapp's dad also provided some clarification on Twitter.

A bold move, indeed. But also one that was ultimately appreciated. And now we all can, too.
