The Last of Us

This HBO sci-fi horror series based on The Last of Us video games is set years after a zombie apocalypse has devastated the United States. In a time of scavenging and mistrust, Joel, a resilient smuggler (The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal) takes on the responsibility of safeguarding Ellie (Game of Thrones' Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl believed to hold the key to humanity's survival.

Also featured in this critically acclaimed series are Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Merle Dandridge, Storm Reid, Rutina Wesley, Lamar Johnson, Melanie Lynskey, Murray Bartlett, and Nick Offerman, who won the 2023 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, for the moving episode entitled, "Long, Long Time."

The Last of Us series, written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann of The Last of Us and Uncharted video game franchises, was executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells from the original game’s developer Naughty Dog, and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan.
