Perhaps the easiest thing you can do to go green is unplug things when you're not using them. This best-selling outlet could help you cut out the middleman and help you save on energy, and it's 24% off right now.

The Remote-Controlled Outlet Switch attaches to regular outlets and lets you plug in any of your appliances. With the remote, you can turn off the power running into any appliance without an explicit On/Off switch and without having to actually unplug anything. According to the product page, it eliminates the need for standby power and reduces energy use. The remote also works through doors and windows with a range of up to 50 ft. Seems like a great way to be environmentally conscious and still have your electronics at the ready.

The Remote-Controlled Outlet Switch costs $21.05, but you can pick up your own for $15.98 and save $5.07.
