Sometimes it's not the story itself, but the way it's told.

Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, Adam Sandler, who has a way with telling stories, told Seth Meyers about the time he bumped into Bruce Springsteen at a random gym, only to have the music legend recognise him from SNL.

The catch? Springsteen thought his name was Alan Stanley.

Come for the silly anecdote, stay for the wonderful way Sandler tells it.
