Adam Scott tells a story about meeting Al Pacino

You hear the phrase "celebrities are just like us" bandied around an awful lot, but when it comes to Adam Scott meeting famous people, it appears he really is.

The Severance star has already been filmed reacting adorably to a surprise Mark Hamill appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and told an excruciating story about having to apologise to John Turturro and Christopher Walken after being late for his first day filming the Apple TV+ show — and now he has a new tale for Jimmy Fallon, this time about meeting Al Pacino at an Oscars after party.

"I'm like, 'Let's just look at him for five minutes and then we can go,'" says Scott, describing how he wandered over to gaze at Pacino from afar, only for Pacino to suddenly spot him and make a horror movie-style beeline right for him.

The good news? He only wanted to compliment a nervous Scott on his Severance performance. And get a quick photo.
