Bird Box Barcelona is ready to terrify us all.

An expansion of the 2018 film starring Sandra Bullock, Bird Box Barcelona warps us into what looks like the first day the notorious monsters arrived on earth — but that's not all. If you thought aliens that could brainwash you to kill yourself upon looking at them was the scariest thing ever, think again. In Bird Box Barcelona, the threat even extends to humanity itself with the film's latest trailer teasing an alien-apologist cult, with eyes not-so ironically being their symbol, who force people to look at the monsters as a form of enlightenment. Yup, it's wild. I hope you all have your blindfolds ready.

Bird Box Barcelona stars Mario Casas, Georgina Campbell, Alejandra Howard, Naila Schuberth, Diego Calva, Patrick Criado, Lola Dueñas, Gonzalo de Castro, Michelle Jenner, and Leonardo Sbaraglia.

How to watch: Bird Box Barcelona premieres on Netflix July 14.
