Cats may not respond to their own names, but this feline clearly understands what the word "hungry" means.
Every time its human asks, "kitty, you hungry?" the cat responds with an aggressive meow and runs, presumably to its food bowl.
So, basically, cats are liars. Every last one of them. They know you're calling their name; they just don't care.
