Artist and film maker David O'Reilly's Everything is kind of how it sounds: a game where you can play as literally everything. The new 10-minute gameplay film shows off exactly that -- you can flip hilariously around the landscape as a bear, grow as a series of weeds and even swim around as the tiniest of microorganisms. I sure hope there's a tardigrade in there somewhere, too.

"Everything is a game about the things we see, their relationships, and their points of view," O'Reilly -- who is perhaps most well-known for the video game animations in 2013's Her -- wrote in a blog post when the game was first announced. "In this context, things are how we separate reality so we can understand it and talk about it with each other. It sounds obvious, but people have been arguing about what things are since the dawn of time."

Everything is a game -- with apparently over a million years of gameplay -- but O'Reilly's description of it as a "consciousness simulator" seems most fitting.

Everything is releasing on PS4 on March 21, just in time for spring.
