It feels like we've been waiting for In the Heights forever. The theatrical adaptation of Quiara Alegría Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda's 2007 beloved stage musical postponed its release date for almost an entire year due to the coronavirus, having originally been scheduled to hit theatres in June 2020.

Fortunately, In the Heights just dropped two joyous new trailers to tide us over until it finally hits our eyeballs in full. If you didn't already know it the writer of Hamilton was involved, just hearing the distinct cadence of the rapping should leave no doubt.

Set in the Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights, In the Heights follows bodega owner Usnavi (Hamilton alumnus Anthony Ramos) as he "hopes, imagines and sings about a better life." Directed by Crazy Rich Asians' Jon M. Chu, the film will also feature Leslie Grace, Corey Hawkins, Melissa Barrera — plus Miranda making an obligatory cameo.

Both new trailers share enough footage that if you've seen one you've pretty much seen the other, but let's be honest, you're going to watch them both anyway.

In the Heights will arrive in theaters and stream on HBOMax from June 18.
