Singaporeans, rejoice: This airline will use Singlish on national day
Watch Next

Earlier this year, budget airline Jetstar pranked us for April Fools' Day with a video that claimed they were adopting Singapore's creole, Singlish, as its official language.

As it turns out, Singaporeans loved the idea so much that they urged the airline to make that a reality.

Well, looks like someone at Jetstar has been listening, because the airline has agreed to have Singlish in-flight announcements, but for one day only on Singapore's National Day which falls on Aug. 9.

According to Jetstar's press statement, only selected flights into Singapore on the day will get to hear the pilots and cabin crew speaking Singlish.

Shiok lah.
