Late Show host Stephen Colbert has revealed People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2021: comedic actor (and sexiest Ant-Man alive) Paul Rudd. It probably feels well overdue to anyone who was young and impressionable when classic teen rom-com Clueless was released in 1995, but better late than never.

In a two-part skit that had Colbert running Rudd through a gauntlet of tests designed to evaluate the actor's sexiness, the Late Show host had him solemnly swear to give the sexiest answers he could, to be a man, and to stay alive, "so help me McConaughey." Colbert then proceeded to ask whether Rudd could fit his whole fist in his mouth, test whether he could make a monk's robe work, and inexplicably blow raspberries on the actor's stomach.

It isn't immediately apparent what any of this has to do with sexiness. It was all (apparently) worth it though, with a weeping Rudd eventually taking home the tiara, sash, and reassurance that he is indeed sexy.

"I... I'm sexy?" gasped an overwhelmed Rudd. "I'm sexy? I'm sexy! I'm the Sexiest Man Alive!"
