Sadly though, the sauce was discontinued way back in 1998, and most people demanding it don't have thousands of dollars to spend to try to get it back. (That's not an exaggeration. This is just a picture of the condiment and it was listed for $100,000.) Still, people want to snack on that sweet spicy goodness.
Enter: DIY sauce.
In the latest installment of his Binging with Babish series, YouTuber and cook Andrew Rea teaches you how to make the coveted sauce three ways—with his own recipe, a recipe by a Redditor that claims to have recreated it accurately with his father years ago, and a combination of some still popular McDonald's dipping sauces.
So don't despair, you won't be laughed out of your Rick and Morty viewing party after all.
