Mountain lion roams onto high school campus and students are flipping out
As a mountain lion was roaming the campus of a California high school, the students were telling the whole story on Twitter.
The big cat was first spotted around 7 a.m. PST close to campus at John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California. It wasn't until a second spotting that occurred just before noon that the school needed to be placed on lockdown.

The mountain lion ended up roaming around campus, which lead school officials to keep all students indoors until the animal was safety detained.
KTLA, a CW-affiliated television station in Los Angeles, California, has set up a live-feed of the police investigation. Around 12:45 p.m. PST, the animal was struck with a tranquilizer dart on Gothic Avenue, where the high school is located.
However, a few students at Kennedy High School got a unique view of the entire ordeal, and were live tweeting their experiences, covering a wide range of topics.
