Puppy can't help but smile after being rescued from burning apartment

This puppy looks as happy as we are that he was saved from a fire.

The Baltimore County Fire Department responded to a call in Parkville, Maryland, March 11 about an apartment building that caught fire. The department quickly contained the flames so they could rescue an important member of the family: this cute puppy.

Mashable has reached out to the fire department for comment and an update on the grinning dog.
